Midlands Improv one day workshop & performance

Rich Coad will be running a one day impro workshop that will result in an optional performance in the evening.

The workshop & show will be on Saturday 25th September 12pm-5pm workshop followed by a 7pm performance alongside WOW Impro. Both the workshop and performance are at Theatre Absolute, City Arcade, Coventry 

The day will cover the basic laws needed for performing improv and is suitable for all levels from beginner to experienced imrpoviser wanting to perform with a new troupe.

Sing Sing! - Sunday 18th July

There's another chance to learn and/or improve your improvised singing with Andy Fisher from Sprout Ideas On Sunday 18th July.

He'll be guiding you from the basics and moving through to improvised music and singing in scenework!

Andy Fisher is not only one of the best impro musicians in the business he is also a composer, orchestrator, jazz pianist, and writes in film, music theatre, jazz and classical spheres. Andrew has also completed a PhD in Composition.

 Friendly Fire will be running a 4 days workshop prior to their show at the Old Vic Tunnels. Open to performing dancers, actors and musicians. Admission by (free) audition on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays (contact us to arrange at FF@imprology.com).

Moving Into Narrative

Chris Johnston will be running a weekend workshop exploring how to create characters, relationships and narrative from a starting point of movement.

Chris is the author of House of Games (Making Theatre from Everyday Life) and The Improvisation Game (Discovering the Secrets of Spontaneous Performance) also For Those Who Like To Say No (Drama Games) - forthcoming.  He is also the Director of Fluxx ('Fascinating, involving, intriguing - all those things you want from theatre but very rarely get' - Total Theatre).  He has been running workshops with companies for many years, working will all kinds from prisoners to the RSC.

A great opportunity to extend your range as a performer.
